Bio

Wesley Safadão is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and instrumentalist from Fortaleza, Ceará. He rose to prominence in the mid-2010s as the frontman of the band Garota Safada before launching a solo career that blended forró, brega, sertanejo universitário and piseiro. His upbeat dance tracks and romantic ballads have made him one of the leading figures in the contemporary forró scene across Brazil.
