Bio
Oxford Camerata is an English chamber choir founded in Oxford in 1984. The ensemble specialises in early music, performing repertoire from the medieval period through the Renaissance and Baroque eras, including Gregorian chant and Catholic liturgical works. Under the direction of founder Jeremy Summerly, the group has become known for historically informed performances and has recorded extensively for the Naxos label, contributing to the wider appreciation of choral music from earlier centuries.
