Kero Kero Bonito is a British band formed in London in 2011. The group consists of vocalist Sarah Midori Perry and producers Gus Lobban and Jamie Bulled. Their music blends elements of J-pop, electronic, hip-hop, and indie pop, often featuring playful lyrics and colorful production. The band gained recognition with their 2014 mixtape "Intro Bonito" and subsequent releases like "Bonito Generation" (2016) and "Time 'n' Place" (2018). Their sound has evolved from chiptune-influenced pop to more experimental indie rock while maintaining their distinctive whimsical aesthetic.
