Bio
Marco Carola is an Italian techno DJ and producer born in Naples in 1975. He emerged in the mid-1990s as part of the Neapolitan techno scene and quickly gained international recognition for his stripped-back, groove-oriented sound. He founded the labels Question and Music On, the latter becoming the name of his long-running annual event series in Ibiza. Carola has maintained a consistent presence in clubs worldwide, known for extended sets that emphasize hypnotic rhythms and minimal textures. Over three decades he has released music on influential labels such as Plus 8, Minus, and Drumcode while continuing to run his own imprints. His work spans minimal techno, tech house, and driving techno, and he remains one of the most recognized figures from Italy's electronic-music underground.
