Bio
Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez is an American DJ, record producer, and songwriter from Brooklyn, New York. Born on July 6, 1970, he is best known as one half of the influential house music duo Masters at Work, alongside Little Louie Vega. Together they helped shape the New York house scene in the 1990s with productions that blended Latin, soul, and disco influences. Beyond Masters at Work, Gonzalez has released solo material under his own name and the moniker Bucketheads, scoring a major club hit with "The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall into My Mind)" in 1995. He remains active as a DJ and producer, continuing to influence dance music through his extensive catalog of remixes and original tracks.
