Moya Brennan (born Máire Ní Bhraonáin, 4 August 1952) is an Irish singer, songwriter and harpist from Dublin. She first rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of the family band Clannad, helping to popularise Celtic and new-age music worldwide in the 1970s and 1980s. After leaving the group, Brennan launched a solo career that blends traditional Irish melodies with contemporary production. Her debut album Máire (1992) and subsequent releases such as Perfect Time (1998) and Two Horizons (2003) established her as a distinctive voice in Celtic music. Beyond recording, she has contributed to film soundtracks, collaborated with artists across genres, and performed at major international events. Brennan continues to tour and record, maintaining a central role in the evolution of modern Celtic music.
