Maino is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York, born on August 30, 1973. He first gained recognition in the mid-2000s with his mixtape series and the 2008 single "Hi Hater," which led to a major-label deal. His debut album, If Tomorrow Comes..., was released in 2009 and featured the platinum-certified hit "All the Above" featuring T-Pain. Maino is known for his gritty storytelling rooted in his Brooklyn upbringing and has continued releasing music independently while maintaining a presence in hip-hop media.
