Bio
Alice Cooper was an American rock band formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1964. Originally a garage-rock outfit, the group gained notoriety in the late 1960s and early 1970s for its theatrical stage shows and horror-inspired imagery. Their sound blended hard rock, proto-punk, and glam elements, and they achieved mainstream success with hits such as "School's Out" and "No More Mr. Nice Guy." The original lineup disbanded around 1975, after which the Alice Cooper name continued as the solo project of vocalist Vincent Furnier.
