Jamie Quinn, known professionally as Matrix, is a British drum and bass producer and DJ from London. He first emerged in the late 1990s and became a key figure in the liquid funk sub-genre, releasing on labels such as Hospital Records and Virus Recordings. His productions are noted for their melodic basslines, crisp breakbeats, and atmospheric arrangements, appearing on compilations and club charts throughout the 2000s. Matrix has also collaborated with artists including Futurebound, with whom he formed the duo Matrix & Futurebound.
