Jemaine Clement is a New Zealand actor, comedian, musician and filmmaker born in Masterton in 1974. He first gained international recognition as one half of the musical-comedy duo Flight of the Conchords alongside Bret McKenzie, with whom he created the HBO series of the same name. Clement has since built a varied screen career, appearing in films such as "What We Do in the Shadows," "Men in Black 3" and voicing characters in animated features including "Rio" and "Moana." His work spans both comedy and dramatic roles, often incorporating his musical background.
