Phantogram is an American electronic duo formed in Saratoga Springs, New York, by Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter. They emerged in the late 2000s blending indie electronic, dream pop, and trip-hop influences with heavy bass and atmospheric production. Their breakthrough came with the 2011 album "Nightlife" and the 2013 release "Voices," which featured the hit single "Fall in Love." The duo has collaborated with artists including Big Boi and toured extensively, maintaining a distinctive sound that merges dark synth textures with pop structures. They released "Three" in 2016 and "Ceremony" in 2020, continuing to evolve their electronic sound while retaining their core aesthetic.
