Jain is a French singer-songwriter born Jeanne Galice on February 7, 1992, in Toulouse. She grew up in the south-west of France and spent part of her childhood in the Republic of the Congo before returning to France, where she later settled in the Bordeaux region. Her music blends French pop with world-music influences, characterized by catchy rhythms, minimalist production, and lyrics often sung in English. Jain first gained widespread attention with her 2015 debut album Zanaka, which spawned the international hit single "Come."
