Jesus Jones is a British alternative rock band formed in Bradford on Avon in 1988. They rose to prominence in the early 1990s with their fusion of rock, electronic, and dance elements, most notably on their platinum-certified album Doubt (1991). The group is best known for the international hit single "Right Here, Right Now," which reached the top of the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and became an anthem of the era. Led by vocalist and guitarist Mike Edwards, the band’s core lineup also included keyboardist Iain Baker, guitarist Tony Arthy, bassist Al Doughty, and drummer Gen. Their sound helped bridge the Madchester scene with the emerging Britpop movement, and they continued to release albums through the 1990s and 2000s while maintaining a global touring presence.
