Cavetown is the stage name of Robin Skinner, an English singer-songwriter born in Oxford on 15 December 1998. He began releasing bedroom-pop recordings on Bandcamp in 2013 while still a teenager, gradually building a following through YouTube and streaming platforms. His music is characterized by intimate vocals, ukulele-driven arrangements, and introspective lyrics that often explore themes of mental health and identity. Over the following decade, Skinner expanded his sound with fuller band productions and collaborations, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the indie and bedroom-pop scenes.
