Declan McKenna is an English singer-songwriter and musician born on 24 December 1998 in Enfield, United Kingdom. He first gained attention after winning the Glastonbury Festival's Emerging Talent Competition in 2015 with his song "Brazil," which addressed the 2014 FIFA World Cup and political issues in the host country. McKenna released his debut album "What Do You Think About the Car?" in 2017, followed by "Zeros" in 2020. His music blends indie pop and rock with socially conscious lyrics, and he has toured extensively across the UK, Europe, and North America.
