Jorge Celedón is a Colombian vallenato singer and songwriter born on March 4, 1968, in Villanueva, La Guajira. He rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of Binomio de Oro de América from 1996 to 2006, helping the group achieve widespread success across Latin America. After leaving the group, Celedón launched a solo career that has produced multiple hits and solidified his status as one of the leading figures in modern vallenato music.
