Bio
Dave Gahan is an English singer-songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the electronic band Depeche Mode. Born in North Weald Bassett, Essex, he joined the band in 1980 and has remained its frontman through decades of global success. His distinctive baritone voice and charismatic stage presence have been central to the group’s sound and image. Outside Depeche Mode, Gahan has released solo albums that explore darker, more introspective material.
