Bio

Susanna Hoffs is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist best known as a founding member of the power-pop band the Bangles. Born in Los Angeles in 1959, she co-wrote several of the group’s hits, including “Eternal Flame” and “If She Knew What She Wants,” and contributed distinctive lead vocals on tracks such as “Manic Monday.” After the Bangles disbanded in the late 1980s, Hoffs launched a solo career, releasing albums that blend pop-rock and folk influences while continuing to perform with reunited line-ups of the band.
