Kumbia Kings was a Latin cumbia group formed in 1999 in Corpus Christi, Texas. The band blended traditional cumbia rhythms with Tejano and pop influences, releasing several albums that helped popularize cumbia music in the United States during the early 2000s. They disbanded in 2006.
