Tony Rebel (born Patrick George Anthony Barrett, 15 January 1962) is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist known for blending conscious lyrics with lovers-rock melodies. Emerging in the late 1980s, he gained recognition with hits such as "Fresh Vegetable" and "Sweet Jamaica," establishing himself as a distinctive voice in the dancehall scene. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Rebel released albums like "If Jah" and "Realms of Rebel," maintaining a focus on roots reggae and social commentary. He remains active in Jamaica’s music community, performing internationally and running his own label, Flames Productions.
