Bio
Whigfield is a Danish Eurodance artist best known for her 1994 international hit single "Saturday Night." Born Sannie Charlotte Carlson on April 11, 1970, she rose to fame in the mid-1990s with a string of upbeat dance tracks that combined catchy melodies and simple, memorable lyrics. Her debut album, also titled Saturday Night, spawned several follow-up singles including "Think of You" and "Sexy Eyes," which charted across Europe. Whigfield continued releasing music into the 2000s, maintaining a presence in the Eurodance scene with subsequent albums and singles.
