Curtis Alan Jones, known professionally as Green Velvet, is an American DJ and producer from Chicago. He emerged in the early 1990s as a key figure in the city's house and techno scenes, releasing influential tracks on Relief Records and later his own Cajual imprint. Jones blends tech house, Chicago house and techno with distinctive vocal samples and humorous, often satirical lyrics. Notable projects include the albums "Constant Chaos" and "Whatever," plus singles such as "Flash" and "La La Land." He has collaborated with artists including Fatboy Slim and maintains an active touring schedule worldwide.
