Jah Thomas (born January 1, 1955) is a Jamaican reggae and dub artist, producer, and deejay from Kingston. Active since the mid-1970s, he is known for his work in the roots reggae and dub scenes, often releasing music on his own labels such as Midnight Rock and Jah Thomas Records. In addition to his solo recordings, Thomas has produced and voiced numerous tracks for other reggae artists, contributing to the development of Jamaican sound-system culture and the evolution of dub music.
