Bio
Johann Pachelbel was a German composer, organist, and teacher of the Baroque era. Born in Nuremberg in 1653, he became one of the most important organists of his generation, holding positions in Vienna, Stuttgart, Gotha, and finally Nuremberg. His extensive body of work includes keyboard music, sacred vocal works, and chamber music, with his Canon in D remaining one of the most widely recognized pieces of classical music today.
