HYDE is a Japanese rock musician best known as the vocalist of the band L'Arc~en~Ciel. Born in Wakayama, Japan in 1969, he launched a solo career under the name HYDE in 2001, releasing albums that blend rock, electronic, and visual kei elements. His solo work has been featured in anime soundtracks and has achieved success both in Japan and internationally.
