Petr Popelka is a Czech conductor and composer born in Prague in 1986. He studied conducting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and has since established himself as a prominent figure in the classical music scene. Popelka serves as the chief conductor of the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and has conducted numerous orchestras across Europe, specializing in both symphonic repertoire and contemporary works. His compositional output includes concertos and orchestral pieces that blend traditional forms with modern sensibilities.
