twenty one pilots is an American alternative duo from Columbus, Ohio formed in 2009 by Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. They rose to prominence with their 2015 major-label debut Blurryface, which topped the Billboard 200 and spawned global hits "Stressed Out" and "Ride." Their sound blends hip hop, rock, electronic, and indie pop with introspective lyrics and theatrical live shows. The band has released six studio albums, earned multiple Grammy Awards, and maintains a dedicated international fanbase known as the Skeleton Clique.
