Xavier Naidoo is a German singer, songwriter, and producer born in Mannheim in 1971. He first gained prominence in the 1990s as the frontman of the band Söhne Mannheims before launching a successful solo career that blended pop, soul, and R&B influences. His debut solo album Nicht von dieser Welt (1998) topped the German charts and established him as one of the country’s leading pop artists. Subsequent releases such as Zwischenspiel – Alles für den Herrn (2002) and Telegramm für X (2005) further solidified his commercial success and earned multiple Echo Awards. Beyond music, Naidoo has appeared as a coach on the German version of The Voice and has collaborated with numerous domestic and international artists. His work is characterized by introspective lyrics and a distinctive vocal style that has made him a recognizable figure in German-language pop music.
