Vijay Antony is an Indian film composer, playback singer, and actor who works primarily in the Tamil film industry. Born on 24 July 1975, he began his career as a music director with the 2006 film Naan Avanillai and has since scored music for numerous Tamil films including Kanchana, Naan, and Pichaikkaran. He is known for blending traditional Tamil folk elements with contemporary electronic and dance beats, creating a distinctive sound that has made him a popular figure in Kollywood.
