Kid Ink is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Los Angeles, California. He rose to prominence in the early 2010s with a series of mixtapes that showcased his melodic flow and West Coast production style. His major-label debut album, My Own Lane, arrived in 2014 and featured the hit single "Show Me," which helped establish him as a mainstream artist. Throughout his career, Kid Ink has collaborated with a wide range of artists and maintained a consistent presence in the hip-hop and R&B scenes. Known for his tattoo-inspired stage name and laid-back delivery, he continues to release music independently and through his label, Tha Alumni Music Group.
