Bio

Aluna Francis is a British singer, songwriter and producer born in Wales on 2 July 1988. She first gained recognition as one half of the electronic duo AlunaGeorge, whose 2012 single “You Know You Like It” reached the UK top 10 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. After the duo’s hiatus, Francis launched a solo career under the mononym Aluna, releasing the 2020 album Renaissance and the 2021 mixtape Running Wild. Her work spans UK garage, house and pop, and she continues to write and perform both as a solo artist and occasional collaborator.
