Old Crow Medicine Show is an American string band formed in 1998 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The group is known for blending old-time string-band traditions with contemporary Americana and folk influences, drawing on bluegrass, country, and indie-folk styles. The band gained widespread recognition with their 2004 single "Wagon Wheel," a reworking of an unfinished Bob Dylan recording that became a modern folk standard. Their energetic live performances and repertoire of original and traditional material have earned them a loyal following and multiple Grammy nominations.
