Candlebox is an American rock band formed in Seattle in 1990. Emerging during the height of the grunge movement, the group achieved mainstream success in the mid-1990s with their self-titled debut album, which featured the hit singles "Far Behind" and "You." Their sound blends grunge with post-grunge elements, characterized by introspective lyrics and melodic hooks. The band released several albums throughout the 1990s and 2000s, including "Lucy" (1995) and "Happy Pills" (1998), before disbanding in 2000. Candlebox reunited in 2006 and has continued to tour and record new music, maintaining a dedicated fan base with their enduring rock anthems.
