Bio
TV Girl is an American indie pop band formed in San Diego, California. The project began as a solo endeavor by Brad Petering before expanding into a full band with collaborators such as Jason Wyman and Wyatt Starkey. Known for their lo-fi, sample-heavy sound drawing from 60s pop, French yé-yé, and indie rock, they gained a cult following through Bandcamp releases and viral tracks like "Lovers Rock." Their 2014 album "French Exit" and later works such as "Who Really Cares" and "Grapes Upon the Vine" solidified their reputation for nostalgic, bittersweet songwriting and distinctive production. The band maintains an active presence through independent releases and extensive touring.
