Bio

Luca Barbarossa is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Rome on 15 April 1961. He first gained national attention in the early 1980s with melodic pop songs such as "Roma spogliata" and "Via Margutta," establishing a reputation for literate, city-focused lyrics. Over a four-decade career he has released more than a dozen studio albums, frequently collaborating with other prominent Italian artists and occasionally writing for cinema and television. His work remains rooted in the classic cantautore tradition while incorporating contemporary production elements.
