Lil Kesh is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper born on 14 March 1995 in Lagos. He first gained attention in 2014 with the street anthem “Shoki,” which helped popularize the Azonto dance style and established him as a rising voice in the Afrobeats scene. His subsequent singles, including “Efejoku” and “Ibile,” showcased his blend of Yoruba-infused lyrics with contemporary Afro-pop production. Over the following years he released the albums “Y.A.G.I (Young & Getting It)” and “Ecstasy,” further cementing his reputation for catchy hooks and socially conscious themes.
