Yves Tumor is an experimental electronic musician born in Miami, Florida, on November 19, 1990. Raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Tumor began releasing music in the early 2010s, initially self-releasing projects before signing with PAN and later Warp Records. Their work blends noise, R&B, rock, and ambient textures, often exploring themes of identity, desire, and transformation. Over the past decade, Tumor has released several critically regarded albums, including Safe in the Hands of Love (2018) and Heaven to a Tortured Mind (2020). Known for a fluid approach to genre and presentation, Tumor continues to push boundaries in contemporary experimental music.
