Bio
Anuradha Paudwal is an Indian playback singer who rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s, lending her voice to numerous Bollywood film soundtracks as well as devotional and regional-language recordings. Born in Karnataka in 1954, she became especially noted for her work in Hindi cinema and for her extensive catalog of bhajans and other devotional music. Beyond film songs, Paudwal has recorded in Marathi and other regional traditions, and her repertoire also includes ghazals. Her contributions to Indian devotional music have remained a significant part of her career alongside her mainstream playback work.
