He is known for his work in Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and has released several albums throughout his career. Madela gained recognition after winning the 2005 edition of the Philippine singing competition "Search for the Star in a Million." His discography includes covers of classic ballads as well as original material, establishing him as a prominent figure in the Filipino music scene.
