Bio
Mario Winans is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer born on August 27, 1974, in Orangeburg, New York. He is a member of the prominent Winans family of gospel musicians and is the son of gospel singer Vickie Winans and the late pastor Marvin Winans. Winans gained mainstream recognition in the early 2000s with his hit single "I Don't Wanna Know," which featured P. Diddy and sampled the Fugees' "Ready or Not." His work spans both gospel and secular R&B, and he has contributed as a songwriter and producer for numerous artists in addition to his own recordings.
