Juan Luis Morera Luna, known professionally as Wisin, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton artist and one half of the duo Wisin & Yandel. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, he rose to prominence in the early 2000s with the duo’s string of hits including “Rakata,” “Abusadora,” and “Algo Me Gusta de Ti.” After the duo’s hiatus, Wisin launched a successful solo career with albums such as El Sobreviviente and Victory, collaborating with artists like Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, and Jennifer Lopez. His sound blends reggaeton, Latin trap, and dancehall with high-energy production and party anthems. Wisin remains one of the most influential figures in Latin urban music, with continued chart success and a large global fanbase.
