Catherine Ringer is a French singer, songwriter, and actress born on 18 October 1957 in Suresnes, France. She first gained prominence in the 1980s as the lead vocalist of the duo Les Rita Mitsouko, alongside guitarist Fred Chichin, blending rock, pop, and electronic influences. After Chichin’s death in 2007, Ringer continued as a solo artist, releasing albums that explore chanson, French pop, and French house styles.
