Blawan is a British techno producer and DJ born in Doncaster in 1987. He emerged in the early 2010s with a raw, percussive style that blended industrial textures and breakbeat rhythms, quickly gaining attention through releases on labels such as Hessle Audio and R&S. His music spans techno, IDM, and experimental electronic forms, often characterized by intricate drum programming and abrasive sound design. Blawan has maintained an influential presence in the UK underground scene, releasing on his own label Ternesc and collaborating with artists like Pariah under the trade name Karenn.
