Beirut is an American indie-folk band formed in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2006 by multi-instrumentalist Zach Condon. The group is known for blending Balkan folk, French chanson, and indie pop, often featuring brass instruments and accordion alongside traditional rock instrumentation. Since their debut album Gulag Orkestar, Beirut has released several critically acclaimed records, including The Flying Club Cup, The Rip Tide, and No No No. Their music is characterized by lush arrangements and Condon's distinctive songwriting, drawing from his travels and diverse musical influences.
