Alison Goldfrapp is an English musician, singer, and songwriter born in Enfield, United Kingdom, on 13 May 1966. She first gained recognition in the 1990s as a vocalist for the electronic duo Goldfrapp, which she formed with producer Will Gregory. The pair became known for blending electronic, trip-hop, and synth-pop elements across several critically acclaimed albums. Beyond her work with the duo, Goldfrapp has contributed vocals to recordings by artists such as Tricky and Orbital. In 2023 she released her debut solo album, "The Love Invention," marking a new chapter in her career while continuing to explore electronic and dance-oriented sounds.
