Bio

Jatin-Lalit was an Indian music composer duo formed by brothers Jatin Pandit and Lalit Pandit. Active primarily in the Bollywood film industry from the early 1990s until 2006, they became known for their melodic soundtracks that blended traditional Indian elements with contemporary pop arrangements. The duo gained prominence with their debut film Yaara Dildara (1991) and went on to compose music for numerous successful Hindi films including Khiladi (1992), Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992), Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994), and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). Their work often featured memorable romantic ballads and dance numbers that became staples of 1990s Bollywood cinema. Jatin-Lalit received several Filmfare Award nominations for Best Music Director and contributed to the soundtracks of over 50 films during their active years. The duo parted ways around 2006, after which both brothers pursued individual careers in music composition.
