Oliver Sim is an English singer, songwriter, and musician born on 14 June 1990. He is best known as the bassist and vocalist of the indie electronic band The xx, which he formed with Romy Madley Croft and Jamie xx while attending school in London. Sim released his debut solo album Hideous Bastard in 2022, exploring themes of identity and self-acceptance. His work is characterized by intimate vocals and minimalist electronic production.
