Julian Lage is an American jazz guitarist born on December 25, 1987, in Santa Rosa, California. He began playing guitar at age five and gained early recognition as a child prodigy, performing with Carlos Santana and later studying at Berklee College of Music. Known for his virtuosic technique and melodic sensibility, Lage has released several acclaimed albums as a bandleader and collaborated with artists such as Gary Burton, Nels Cline, and Chris Eldridge. His work spans traditional jazz, Americana, and modern improvisation, establishing him as one of the leading guitarists of his generation.
