2 Unlimited

Bio

2 Unlimited is a Dutch Eurodance group formed in Amsterdam in 1991. The act became one of the most commercially successful Eurodance projects of the 1990s, scoring multiple international hits with their upbeat dance tracks and distinctive rap-vocal formula. The original lineup featured rapper Ray Slijngaard and vocalist Anita Doth. Their debut single "Get Ready for This" (1991) reached the top 40 in several countries and established their energetic sound, which blended house beats with rap and melodic choruses. Throughout the mid-1990s, 2 Unlimited released a string of chart-topping singles including "No Limit," "Tribal Dance," and "The Real Thing." Their albums sold millions worldwide, and they became a staple of European dance floors and radio. After a split in 1996, the duo reunited in 1998 and have continued to perform and release new material under the 2 Unlimited name, maintaining a presence on the nostalgia-driven dance circuit.
