Bio
Jef Martens, known professionally as Basto, is a Belgian DJ and record producer born on January 8, 1975, in Hoogstraten, Belgium. He first gained recognition in the late 2000s with a series of house and electro-house singles that combined energetic beats with melodic hooks. Martens has released music on labels such as Spinnin' Records and his own imprint, and his tracks have been featured in European dance charts and compilations. In addition to solo work, he has collaborated with other producers and performed at major festivals across Europe.
